Joe Thrives on Challenges

Joe Walker is someone who truly enjoys tackling challenges, which makes him adept at solving problems and driving projects and product development forward. He brings this skill to his role as Paladin’s new program manager.

Originally from Harrison, Idaho, Joe and his wife, Jessica, are both Army veterans. Joe spent six years on a 15 Whiskey (15W) deployment, working with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). His technical expertise, combined with his experience as a Geek Squad manager at Best Buy, led him to Paladin Data Corporation. He started as a TSR in 2021, and his exceptional performance earned him the Employee of the Month award in September 2022. Joe was promoted to Squad 1 lead in January 2023, and nine months later, he became the Squad 2 lead. His expertise and leadership paved the way for his current position as program manager in the company’s Chandler, Arizona office.

As program manager, Joe oversees cross-functional software initiatives that enable the Paladin engineering and product teams to build and deliver high-quality solutions with focus, clarity, and speed. Joe’s extensive knowledge of Paladin and his ability to effectively utilize the program earned him a role as one of the software testers for PaladinShop™, the company’s new digital store. His job is to rigorously test the software to identify and fix flaws before it is launched.

“When I started, I was told to be gentle with it, but they still wanted me to try and break it,” Joe says.

This experience, along with his knack for identifying issues, led to his new role as program manager.

“Joe is always willing to go the extra mile, take initiative, support teammates, and consistently deliver high-quality work. His positive attitude and commitment to growth make him an invaluable part of the Paladin family,” says Tyler Klein, Paladin’s Operations Director.

Joe’s expertise in Paladin software and computer hardware has earned him a spot on Paladin’s team that travels to dealer markets and trade shows.

“I’m very thankful for all the opportunities Paladin has given me, and I look forward to contributing more to the organization,” Joe says.
